Scaling world servers to handle 10,000+ concurrent users with zero latency. Existing MMORPG architectures struggled with high-fidelity asset synchronization and state consistency across global regions.
The Solution
Distributed server architecture with spatial partitioning and dynamic load balancing. We implemented a custom WebGPU-accelerated engine that offloads heavy computations to the client while maintaining a secure, authoritative state on the server.
Technical Architecture
Smooth gameplay for thousands of simultaneous players with minimal server overhead. The game maintained a steady 60fps even during high-intensity combat events involving hundreds of participants.
